BUYER PROTECTION POLICY - FOREMARKET

1. Overview

Foremarket provides Buyer Protection for eligible transactions completed through the platform.

Buyer Protection ensures that:

  • The item is delivered
  • The item matches the description
  • The transaction is handled securely
2. How It Works
  • Buyer completes payment via Foremarket
  • Funds are held securely via Rocker
  • Seller ships the item via PostNord
  • Buyer receives the item
  • Buyer reviews the item

A) If everything is correct: Payment is released to the seller

B) If there is an issue: Buyer can raise a claim

3. Inspection Period

The buyer has 24 hours from delivery to:

  • Approve the item
  • Report an issue

If no issue is reported within this timeframe:

1) The transaction is automatically completed

2) Payment is released to the seller

4. What Is Covered

Buyer Protection applies if:

  • Item is not delivered
  • Item is significantly not as described
  • Item is damaged during shipping
  • Wrong item is received
5. What Is NOT Covered

Buyer Protection does not cover:

  • Minor wear and tear consistent with description
  • Buyer's change of mind
  • Fit or subjective expectations
  • Items accurately described but not liked
6. Claims & Disputes

To file a claim:

  • Buyer must submit a report within the inspection window
  • Evidence may be required (photos, description, etc.)

Foremarket will:

  • Review the case
  • Facilitate resolution
7. Resolution Outcomes

Possible outcomes:

  • Full refund to buyer
  • Partial refund
  • Return of item
  • Payment release to seller
8. Returns

If a return is approved:

  • Buyer must ship the item back
  • Seller receives item before refund is completed
9. Fraud & Abuse

Foremarket reserves the right to:

  • Deny claims
  • Suspend accounts
  • Withhold payments

In case of suspected fraud or misuse.

10. Platform Role

Foremarket provides:

  • Infrastructure
  • Payment handling
  • Dispute facilitation

Foremarket is not a legal adjudicator.
